Responses to the Questionaire

I have made some word maps of the open-ended questions. The words are sized in proportion to how often they were used in the responses to the question. The larger the word, the higher its frequency of use in the overall responses.  This gives a nice brush stroke to 45 different responses given to these questions.

Here are some of the graphs that were generated by the quantitative data:

When families were asked if they felt “at ease” during the session, they also replied in an overwhelmingly positive manner, the graph displays the breakdown of responses to this question, with 1 meaning “not very” and 5 meaning “very much:

Here are some graphs of who completed the questionnaire and the age ranges of the children who attended

Some questionnaires were filled in by adults and children together....that's why the numbers don't add up :)

This table scored the different components of the session on a scale of 1-5.

1 indicated not much enjoyment and 5 indicated the activity was enjoyed a great deal.

The first column in Table Two, below, indicates how many people responded to the question, and the second column is the average of their responses. The colour scale indicates which were the highest and lowest scoring activities (dark green = highest, yellow = lowers). The low number of responses on some activities is because they were not included in all sessions.
